This CHUM Chart for the week of March 23, 1964 was one for the record books. Six of the top 10 songs are by the Beatles. Songs 14 and 21 are Beatles' hits as well; and at least three other songs by other artists are ABOUT the Beatles.
"A Dog of Flanders" - 1960s
The sign guy at the Odeon Theatre on the Danforth had some difficulty with the word "Wednesday", but at least he got "CHUM" right. "A Dog of Flanders" has been made into a movie a number of times. CHUM presented the 1960 movie version premiere.
